Annual meeting for the California Alliance for Advanced Transportation Systems (CAATS). Key government and industry officials, including the new Director of Caltrans, will discuss the latest policies and technologies in vehicle safety, transportation efficiency and the security of California's transportation system.
We've put together a very exciting program focusing on transportation safety and security, and featured speakers include Will Kempton, newly appointed Director of Caltrans, and CHP Commissioner Michael Brown. Please look at the entire program on-line at http://www.caats.org/home.htm.
Due to the generosity of the private sponsors and substantial contributions from exhibitors, we have been able to extend the low $100 early registration fee indefinitely. In addition to the great program, the fee also includes a breakfast, a luncheon, a reception and two breaks—it is the best bargain you will find in such programs.
Also, the CAATS Board of Directors meeting will be held prior to the start of the conference, from 9:30 to 11:30. This is an open meeting and everyone interested is invited to attend.
